Made from a less known but noble nonetheless white wine variety, this Tocai has long been established as a relative of Sauvignon Blanc known both as Sauvignon Vert and Sauvignonasse. The wine it produces is fuller-bodied and less aromatic with vigorous acidity and fresh, sappy fruit, sometimes with a sort of ‘green’, leafy streak. A perfect wine for a hot summer evening.

Tasting Notes

A light yellow with greenish tint, this wine is fresh and aromatic with a nose full of herbs, white flowers and citrus zest. It is exciting and fresh on the palate with a beautiful round mouthfeel and a bitter grapefruit finish.
