Marselan was bred to combine the finesse and quality of Cabernet Sauvignon with the color, heat tolerance and high yielding capabilities of Grenache making it an ideal candidate for Jordanian terroir. Marselan produces deeply colored and highly aromatic wines that have supple tannins and the potential to age.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant purplish color with ruby hints. The nose is full of candied raspberry and slightly spicy plum with hints of dry herbs and pleasant oakiness with touch of vanilla, black pepper and nutmeg. It has a velvety texture on the palate with supple tannins. This wine is fresh, medium bodied, with a well-balanced acidity and juiciness. The finish is soft, medium to long, with a mouth-watering aftertaste.

Food Pairing

With its soft and delicates spices, it is a wine to pair with Asian dishes (not too hot!) and char-grilled meats.
