This right here is a 2 year old 100% wheat spirit from the Reservoir distillery in Virginia, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Wheat Company. Released alongside a 100% Corn and a 100% Rye expression, these three grains come together to form the Reservoir Bourbon, meaning you can taste each of them separately and as an ensemble. Neat!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft oak spices and sour cherries rise through youthful oak, toffee pennies and rich vanilla.

Palate: Plenty of fizzy, woody tannins add vibrancy to decadent caramel and orange chocolate.

Finish: A hint of root beer and cherry lingers.

Overall: Sprightly yet succulent, this dram is full of flavour and fun!
