A monastic inspired Belgian Style Tripel which is everything but holy. Craftwerk Holy Cowl presents itself merciless with a malty-sweet taste and an alcoholic content of 9% vol. A beer to kneel. Opaque and lustrous, the color of honey, luminously golden orange, with a lasting head of finely latticed, light cream-colored foam.

Tasting Notes

The soft aroma of bananas commingles with a mellifluous sweetness and spicy accents, reminiscent of ripe grain and cloves, complemented by marked bitter notes of sage and hops. A sweet, soft fruitiness washes over the palate against a background of subtle effervescence and an unobtrusive liveliness. A supple wave of flavor crests with an intense honey-like and malty sweetness accompanied by a banana-like fruitiness complemented by nuances of grapefruit and a marked hop bitterness. As the aftertaste lingers, a warming sensation comes to the fore.
