Together with his wife Natacha, his small team of winegrowers, and his oenologist Antoine Mediville, Guillaume Poitevin strives to gain a reputation at national and international level through a strict regularity in work and quality management. Deeply involved in a process of enhancing and promoting the quality Bordeaux wines, the Vignobles Poitevin joined the Crus Bourgeois Médoc in 2003. Over the years, the wines of the Vignobles Poitevin have earned recognition for being affordable top quality wines. Every year, they win prizes and medals in worldwide wine competitions. Their Chateau Moulin is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that comes from a small 12-acre property has a high proportion of Merlot in its blends.

 Tasting Notes

The 2016 vintage of Château Moulin de Canhaut displays a beautiful ruby color with deep reflections. It is a wine with a tasty nose that reveals exquisite red and black fruits, evolving towards elegant spicy and oaky notes and a generous texture.

 Food Pairing

This wine has the typical characteristics of Médoc wines and will match beautifully with braised Veal as well as and of course with a wine and cheese night!
