Maison Vedrenne is a family run vineyard created by the twin Vedrenne brothers who have been wine merchants since 1906 and owners of various properties on the right bank. Their activity is both based on distributing the wines from their family estates but also adapting their wines to their clients' demands. They have an array of wonderful Bordeaux wines.
This Pauillac has muscle, offset by sleek acidity, which lets the steeped blackberry and black currant fruit race along nicely, while the smoldering tobacco and roasted fig notes hang in the background. A perfect blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
Tasting Notes
Château Bellegrave wines are rich and concentrated, full-bodied reds with grippy tannins, and characteristic notes of cassis, cedar and cigar box spice.
