Growing grapes and crafting high quality wines has always been a family tradition for the Grimaldi's.  Careful work in the vineyard, commitment in the winery, respect for the environment, and a passion for wine has been handed down and improved over decades, and is the heart of the business. 

Dolcetto has always been part of the history of Langhe and is an everyday-drinking wine. As the The Grimaldi's always say, “a meal cannot be considered a proper one without a glass of Dolcetto”. The name takes its origin from the characteristics of the grape variety which is known for its sweet and delicious flavour, rather than from the characteristics of the wine that is more on the dry side.

Tasting Notes

Dolcetto is purple-colored with pronounced vinous to fruity aromas of red fruits, blueberry, raspberry. It is dry on the palate and shows a good structure, softness and freshness with a finely tannic and unique finish.
