The name of the beer comes from the river Amstel that crosses through Amsterdam and of which the water was used for the first brews. Amstel quickly grew to become a success in The Netherlands. But the brand also expanded to all corners of the world through export, including Jordan. Now, it is brewed right here in Jordan!
